Designing power supply packages and building power centers (DG, UPSs)

Techexpo LLC designs power supply packages as part of diesel gensets, UPSs, controlling and monitoring systems, pump sets, transformer plants, utility networks. Techexpo engineering center draws up project documentation, main design solutions, and feasibility study. The construction unit draws up an estimate for construction, installation and earthwork operations, estimates expenditures for laying cable routes and fuel-supply lines.

To carry out design and exploration work, our engineers visit the site to analyze the existing circuits and technical conditions of the power supply, estimate the load of consumers and start currents. The basic layout of equipment, cable routing, automation system is developed. 

To house diesel gensets, electrical facilities and fuel storage containers, Techexpo LLC manufactures certified all-welded containers with utility systems on a turn-key basis: heating and ventilation, work lighting, fire and security alarm, automatic fire suppression. For gensets with a single power of over 1 MW – a remote heater, fuel and oil tanks, sunblinds for fallout protection and noise control. To provide electrical safety when assembling equipment at the process facilities, we install grounding, guard shields on live parts, 24V low-current external switches, protective cutout devices. When commissioning a facility, we coordinate with Russian Technical Supervision Service, resolve comments.

Certificate of admission to design work gives Techexpo LLC the right for engineering surveying, front-end engineering design, and certificate of admission to construction work - right for construction, reconstruction and overhaul. Special Technical Regulations TU 27.11.31-001- 23041585-2018 were developed for diesel generators manufactured by Techexpo LLC.

TechExpo LLC engineering center designs energy supply systems:

• Diesel power supply package, including UPS and 1 reliability rating consumers
• Transformer substations, low-voltage switchgears, switchgear of unilateral maintenance, switchgears, ATS
• Dispatching and remote monitoring systems, DG parallel operation
• APCS with in-built SCADA, programming control DG panel, remote monitoring, video surveillance system integration including Trassir.

The most unpredictable part of the construction of power supply packages is earthworks in the environment of already existing engineering systems. Techexpo LLC has extensive experience in construction work, obtaining permits for earthworks. A permanent crew comes to the site with construction equipment.

When designing a power supply, Techexpo LLC, using the example of the required power of 1 MW, offers several models of diesel gensets based on the technical specifications. For permanent work, we recommend a Perkins or Cummins engine-based diesel generator, for backup – Mitsubishi or MTU. In any case, saving in comparison with the models of other manufacturers is several million rubles.
