Task Implementation of a technical re-equipment program for a large gold mining deposit in 2024.
Solution Development of the main technical solutions (MTS) of the energy center of the mining site with a capacity of 3.6 MW, manufacturing and supply of two automated container-type power plants based on a Cummins diesel engine and a closed 6/0.4 kV container-type switchgear to the Customer's site, installation supervision and commissioning works equipment.
Sininda-1 is a large gold deposit in the Republic of Buryatia, with underground mining. The gold reserves at the deposit at the beginning of 2024 were estimated at 2,330 kg. The deposit belongs to the assets of JSC «Zoloto Seligdara», a large mining holding with 9 production complexes in 7 regions of Russia, including the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Altai Territory, the Republic of Buryatia, Khabarovsk Territory, Chukotka Autonomous District and others.

Techexpo was given a large-scale task as part of the development of this large enterprise: to implement a technical re-equipment Program for 2024 for the Sininda-1 Artel of Prospectors. The project included both work on the Customer's existing equipment and the creation of additional capacities to increase the capabilities of the field and the village of Nizhneangarsk. Another important feature in the implementation process was the complex logistics: it takes more than 12 hours to get from the nearest settlement to the facility directly at the field itself, either by helicopter or by shift transport. The process of delivering equipment and specialists to the facility, taking into account its location, was difficult and energy-intensive.


The implementation of the project turned out to be difficult and multitasking, but despite this, by the end of April 2025, all the equipment is configured and provides the Customer's facility with the necessary energy.


According to this project, Techexpo carried out work at the energy center of the mining site outside the premises.
The planned distribution of electricity to the following facilities: gold extraction plant — 1600 kVA, tunnels — 630 kVA, settlement — 400 kVA.

A complete list of the names of the works that were performed at the Sininda-1 field:

  • Development of an MTS for the energy center consisting of three thermal power plants, 3 heat recovery units, a closed 6/0.4kV switchgear, an operator room, cable and thermal routes;
  • Manufacture and supply of two automated container-type power plants based on Cummins diesel engine to the Customer's site;
  • Manufacture and supply of a closed 6/0.4 kV container-type switchgear, according to a preliminary one-line scheme;
  • Supply of cable products according to the MTS within the boundaries of the projected energy center;
  • Supply of cable-supporting systems according to the MTS within the boundaries of the projected energy center;
  • Manufacture and delivery to the customer's site of 3 heat exchangers for three generator sets installed on the roof;
  • Installation supervision (IS) and commissioning works (CW) on the equipment according to the IS and CW Program: strapping of three gensets (2 supplied and 1 available), high voltage switchgear-6.3, low voltage switchgear-0.4;
  • Development of a technical report on the results of the installation supervision according to an agreed list (programs, reports, protocols, acts), development of operational documentation (an operating manual developed taking into account the composition and technological characteristics of this facility).

List of equipment supplied under the project:

  • closed switchgear 6/0.4 kV container
    An all-welded metal container of full factory readiness. It provided ventilation, heating, fire alarm, working and emergency lighting, uninterruptible power supply and аuxiliary switchboard -6/0.4 sq.m. with a 400 kVA transformer, single-end service assembled chambers, a BINOM3.37 U3.57 I3.5S16T4 type electricity metering device was installed on the input chamber No. 1, the meter's telemechanics unit was turned on/off outgoing chambers No. 2, 3, 4. Mercury 234 type electricity metering devices with RS-485 were installed on the outgoing chambers. Outgoing lines of 6 kV.

    Additional options for the genset are an electric starter, a battery charger, an electric coolant heater, a set of motor and generator sensors, and a 5000m/hour ZIP (dry). The gensets were delivered in a North-type block container: dimensions 10000x3200x3200mm, with ventilation, automatic aerosol fire extinguishing, and an OPS system. Diesel fuel and electricity are accounted for with the output of signals via the RS485 interface, the protocol is Modbus RTU.
    An exhaust gas heat recovery unit with a set of chimneys was installed on each diesel generator. The installation location is on the roof of the block container.

Climatic characteristics, wind loads, and seismicity of the construction area were taken into account in accordance with the current updated Codes of Practice and climate maps of the Russian Federation.
For all types of equipment, Techexpo provided a complete set of technical and operational documentation in Russian (Technical information, Operating Instructions, Installation and Commissioning Instructions, Passport).
The warranty for all supplied materials and equipment extends for 12 months from the beginning of the calculation of the warranty period — from the moment the equipment is shipped from the manufacturer.
