Technical and warranty service of Fogo stations for VTB in Nizhny Novgorod

During 2017, Techexpo provided maintenance, warranty and non-warranty repair services for power plants with a total capacity of 240 kW for the Branch of VTB Bank (PJSC) in Nizhny Novgorod. The work was carried out taking into account the requirements of the manufacturer's operational documentation and was carried out monthly. There was also a list of mandatory quarterly and annual maintenance work.

The Techexpo service department had two Polish-made FOGO stations: the FOGO FI 220ACG with a capacity of 160 kW and the FOGO 110 with a capacity of 80 kW powered by an IVECO engine. Each station was housed in a noise-proof casing mounted on the chassis.

On a monthly basis, our specialists checked the fuel and oil levels, the condition of pipes, hoses and connections, flexible adapters, their tightness, the condition of power cables, cleaning the separator, checking instrumentation and alarm LEDs and checking the temperature of the coolant and the performance of the coolant heater.

Once a quarter, in addition to these works, we serviced the gas exhaust system, drained the condensate from the exhaust system, and cleaned it of soot. The condition of fasteners, insulation, sealing and engine speed control was checked. They also checked the operability of control and measuring devices, remote monitoring and control systems, a control panel, a set of automation and alarm systems.

Every six months, the equipment required work to replace the oil and fuel filters, and seasonal fuel replacement in the regular DSU tanks. Checking the cooling system and replacing the coolant, cleaning the outer surface of the radiator from contamination.

The annual maintenance of a diesel power plant includes monitoring and adjusting the fasteners of the installation and its supports, checking the condition of the starter, monitoring and condition of the alternator, automatic tensioner and condition of the drive belt, checking the serviceability of the charger and charging generator, adjusting the engine and checking the main automatic overload protection unit.
