637 kW diesel gensets maintenance for PepsiCo plants

Quarterly and annual maintenance of two Green Power diesel gensets (Italy) in the Krasnodar Territory

Since 2018, Techexpo has been providing maintenance services for two Green Power diesel gensets for Wimm Bill Dann plants belonging to PepsiCo group of companies. The contract between our companies is prolonged for a year. A 509 kW Green Power GP 700 А/С containerized modular automated genset provides a standby electrical power source for a dairy complex in Timashevsk city, Krasnodar Territory. The second genset 128 kW containerized Green Power GP 176 А/I – for a Wimm Bill Dann JSC processed cheese plant in Medvedovskaya village, Krasnodar Territory.

The plants were maintained according to the manufacturing plant’s maintenance instructions: quarterly and once a year. Every three months our specialists checked the performance of main assemblies and engine components including:

• checking the attachment of the high-pressure fuel pump drive coupler;
• checking the functionality of electrical heating elements, oil pump, coolant pump, charging generator, starter, and drive relay;
• checking fan belt tension and fastening of diesel generator cables;
• checking the oil level in the high-pressure fuel pump body;
• installing a new fuel filter and air filter, cleaning the cover and filtered breather element;
• lubricating the diesel-generator;
• cleaning the diesel-generator surface of dust and dirt;
• maintaining the ground loop – diesel generator and control and measuring instruments;
• tightening all diesel bolts and screws, as well as diesel attachment to the frame and that of the frame to the foundation;
• inspecting the cable system state;
• maintaining water temperature and oil sensors, speed sensor, control and measuring instruments of the automation and control system board;
• checking the diesel generator cold running.

Once a year:

• dumping oil and cleaning the oil filter or replacing the filter element;
• filling the engine with fresh oil;
• replacing the fuel filter and cleaning high-pressure fuel pump cavities.

During gensets maintenance works, components and consumables, which meet the manufacturing plant’s requirements and comply with standards, were used.
