The Techexpo company, commissioned by the Customer, supplied energy equipment for a gold mining complex. It is a polymetallic ore deposit located in the Magadan region, near the village Gastello. This is the second largest gold deposit in the Omchak ore-placer cluster. Annual gold production is about 13 tons.
What is the uniqueness of the project?
To determine the gold content in the ore coming from the deposit, the plant operates a gamma activation analysis laboratory, the only laboratory of its kind in Russia. Realizing all the responsibility in carrying out this project, Techexpo has developed a work plan in accordance with all the wishes of the Customer and provided an extended warranty for the supplied equipment: 36 months or 1000 operating hours after commissioning.
What are the features of the project?
The total capacity of the emergency power complex supplied under the project was 10 MW.
A distinctive feature of the equipment are cooling systems with external radiators and the selection of equipment for automation and synchronization of DGS between the Customer's bus sections.
A separate important task was the logistics of such large-sized equipment in a remote area. It took 5 trawls with special permits and 6 container ships of 20 tons each. The route started in Yekaterinburg and was supposed to end in winter with delivery to the Magadan region. All the logistics were worked out taking into account the delivery by land vehicles — trawls and eurofoils: Yekaterinburg — Yakutsk, then through the winter road through Ust-Nera to the Magadan region. There were more than 10 water crossings along the route, which freeze in winter, and transport vehicles can pass through them. During the delivery, the movement of the cargo was monitored in real time, and the Customer had all the information about the location and safety of the cargo.
Five diesel power plants TE.2000S-T10500-2RN with a capacity of 2000 kW each were delivered in all-welded containers of the «North» type.

The 1000-hour spare parts kit includes coarse and fine fuel filters, oil filters, starters, charging generators, thermostats, speed sensors and other parts necessary for operational work on the equipment.
All-welded containers with dimensions of 12000x3000x3240 mm consist of three compartments: aggregate, electrical and fuel. The assembly compartment houses a DGS with container systems, a 10 kV electrical control unit, a shield for its own needs and radiator control cabinets. In the fuel compartment there is a 4000-liter fuel tank with an external filler neck, with a fuel metering system and an emergency drain.

Two horizontal external radiators on the roof are used as the main units of the cooling system and are connected to the DGS.
There are 3 cells in the electrical compartment: input, outgoing and backup outgoing cells.
The containers are equipped with all necessary fire and electrical safety equipment.
Remote automatic control of the DGS and wireless monitoring from the operator's control panel are provided for ease of operation in the local climate.
In addition to the main supply of equipment at the Customer's facility, Techexpo specialists also carried out a full range of installation and commissioning supervision work, as well as a detailed briefing of the Customer's specialists to familiarize them with the basic rules and requirements for the operation of the Equipment.
The project was completed on time in accordance with the approved work plan and the Customer's wishes.
