In December 2020, Techexpo provided Izhevsk City Clinical Hospital #4 of the Ministry of Health of the Udmurt Republic with a redundant power supply and installed the networks of the emergency power system. Medical institutions belong to the 1st category of electric power supply to a consumer. Power voltage fail safety and high quality are necessary for the proper operation of electrical consumers. To meet high electric power requirements, the following units were delivered:
· The UPS provides an electric power supply during the automatic emergency power switch on. A 160 kW FOGO FDF200I with an Italian IVECO NEF67TM7.S500 engine and a Leroy Somer TAL 044M 6S/4 generator are housed in a container unit based on an all-welded construction. Container dimensions: 7000 mm х 2350 mm х 2450 mm. III fire resistance rating. The container interior space consists of two compartments:
The container is fitted with cooling and ventilation systems, a lighting system, an exhaust emission system, a fire alarm and an automatic fire suppression system. Equipment includes an auxiliaries board and a metal cable tray for laying the cable lines of internal utility systems. A monitoring cabinet for discreet signal output (unauthorized access, failure, fire) from the fire alarm system and genset controller (for remote monitoring and genset control) is located in the operator’s area. The container is additionally fitted with two 1500 W electrical convectors maintaining the air temperature in the container compartments within 15-25°С in winter. The genset fuel system consists of a diesel genset fuel system (350-liter inbuilt fuel tank) and an additional 500-liter fuel tank with an automatic fuel feed system. Construction and installation works: The container is mounted on a foundation made from reinforced concrete plates. According to the project documentation, earthwork operations for making the diesel genset foundation were carried out, including the installation of reinforced concrete plates and fixing them. The diesel generator unit is designed to supply several medical facility consumers with standby power: maternity #2 and an in-patient facility unit of City Clinical Hospital #4 of the Ministry of Health of the Udmurt Republic Budgetary Healthcare Facility. The following works were performed to connect the diesel genset to the consumers:
All works are performed and correspond to the Electrical installation code requirements. |
