Containers for 1,2 MW high-voltage diesel gensets in parallel for lumber production

In 2019 and 2022, Techexpo delivered three high-voltage diesel gensets with a capacity of 1200 kW each and a voltage of 6,3 kV. Every genset is housed in a heat-insulated all-metal container, which is equipped with RU-6,3 kV switchgear manufactured by GK Eletroschit-Samara.

The containers for gensets are manufactured at the production facilities of Techexpo, DG life-support systems are assembled, high-voltage equipment is connected. The gensets may be the only power source at the site or be combined into a power supply package in parallel with each other. The parallel mode of diesel generator operation increases the capacity and reliability resource of the entire genset.

Configuration of supplied equipment:

Two diesel gensets based on a 1200 kW Mitsublshi engine each and three-phase power electrical generator of an output voltage of 6300 V. One diesel generator is based on a Cummins engine.

An automatic control panel with parallel operation function DSE8610.

A built-in fuel tank – 1000 liters for every genset.

An automatic refueling of fuel from the external tank is provided for the constant supply of the DG with diesel fuel.

Three Sever-type containers of 9200х2800х3100 mm dimensions and one - 10000х3000х3600 mm.

RU-6,3 kV switchgear on KRUS-SESCH-75 cells are installed in the containers. Thanks to compactness, this system provides an immediate power supply with no need for erecting a capital building. The voltage rating of KRUS-SESCH-75 packaged switchgear is 6 kV.
