Testing of transformer substations and high voltage units of switchgears at depot complexes in the Moscow region

In July 2020, Techexpo LLC provided an electrical laboratory with services for transformer substations at 6 depot complexes in the Moscow region (Krekshino, Odintsovo, Khimki). TS tests are carried out to ensure the trouble-free operation of an electrical facility, to increase the service life of a transformer substation, and to prevent an emergency. Based on the results of the tests, technical reports, lists of defects and conclusions about the suitability (and even unsuitability!) of electrical equipment were drawn up.

The following works were carried out:

1. Measuring insulation resistance of secondary circuits and windings of control electromagnets;
2. Insulation test with an increased voltage of frequency 50 Hz;
3. Testing the insulation of secondary circuits and windings of control electromagnets;
4. Measuring DC resistance:
5. Measuring main circuit resistance;
6. Measuring the resistance of the windings of the control electromagnets and additional resistors in their circuit;
7. Checking the minimum operating voltage of the switches;
8. Testing capacitors of voltage dividers;
9. Checking the characteristics of the circuit breaker;
10. Testing circuit breakers by multiple trials;
11. Control of the presence of gas leakage;
12. Tests of built-in current transformers;
13. Thermal imaging control;
14. Checking the contact connections of the collecting and connecting tires;
15. Checking inputs, bushing insulators, high-voltage switches, fuses;
16. Checking disconnectors, short circuitors and separators;
17. Checking current transformers, rating magnetization characteristics;
18. Measuring the transformation ratio and no-load losses;
19. Testing transformer oil;
20. Checking T-0.66M U3, 1000/5A current transformer
