The Techexpo company carries out a complex supply and installation of 1 - 2 MW diesel gensets based on Perkins, Cummins, MTU and Mitsubishi engines, equipped with 6.3 and 10.5 kV high-voltage generators. In a parallel mode of operation, it is possible to organize power complexes with a capacity of up to 30-40 MW, and from diesel gensets with a unit capacity of 2.5 MW on an MTU engine - up to 50 MW.

Diesel generators with a unit capacity of 1 - 2 MW  are suitable for supplying power to industrial facilities or a large consumer who is located in a remote area from power lines. These are objects of the oil and gas and industrial sectors: drilling rigs, oil treatment units. Such generators are capable of directly providing the operation of industrial electric motors operating at voltages of 6 and 10 kV.

There are 2 ways to get high voltage:

  • install a high-voltage diesel generator: this will reduce the total project cost by reducing the cost of the conductor and simplify the operation of the equipment, since high voltage is supplied to the load directly without additional devices.
  • • use the genset in combination with a step-up transformer (in this case, it is possible to switch from 6.3 kV to 10.5 kV without replacing the genset). Diesel generators with a step-up transformer are universal and are capable of providing voltage consumers of 6 and 10 kV, as well as 0.4 kV.

The station can be the only source of energy at the facility or be combined into an energy complex in parallel with other diesel generators, as well as with the grid. Parallel operation of diesel generators increases the power resource and reliability of the entire genset.

Switchgears based on KSO-190 "Iva" are designed to receive and distribute electrical energy of alternating three-phase current with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6 (10) kV in networks with an isolated or grounded neutral through an arc quenching reactor or resistor.

CHAMBERS COMPARTMENTATION

The VE compartment is designed to accommodate a power switch. On the back wall of the compartment there are six bushings with sockets for detachable current-carrying connections. To ensure safety, the compartment is equipped with a shutter mechanism that closes the internal cavities of the bushings when the SE is removed from the operating position.

VE is a bogie consisting of movable and fixed parts, connected by a screw gear, with the equipment of the main circuit installed on it. The movable part of the bogie is a platform with four metal wheels, on which the electrical equipment is installed, and the fixed part serves as a stop for the screw mechanism. SE inside the chamber can take two fixed positions - working and control. The operating position is the main position of the WP, in which it is located most of the time of the operating period. In this case, the VE trolley is pushed into the compartment as much as possible, the VE main circuit is connected to the KSO main circuit using detachable socket-type contact connections. Operation of the circuit breaker is permitted under load.

The high-voltage compartment is designed to accommodate the main electrical equipment of the main circuit, busbars and installation fittings for cable connections. The circuit earthing switch is located under the SE compartment. Operation with the earthing switch is carried out using a special rotation handle through a torsion shaft brought out to the front side of the chamber. The end part of the shaft has a square cross-section for engagement with the operating handle. High-voltage edema has special cutouts on the end sides of the chamber for passing the busbars. The cutouts can be equipped with end metal partitions with bushings to ensure the localization of the electric arc within one chamber.

The design of the KSO provides guaranteed localization of the electric arc within the chamber during an internal short circuit. On the rear wall of the chamber, there are unloading valves designed to relieve excess gas pressure and remove the products of electric arc combustion.

KSO are equipped with MBRZ (microprocessor relay protection unit). In addition to the main function (protective), such devices have additional functions of automation, service, can play the role of input-output devices in the ACS, as well as control and measurement devices.

Communication with the ACS can be carried out using RS-485 or Ethernet interfaces (twisted pair or fiber optic). Information exchange can be carried out using various communication protocols Modbus, IEC 60870, IEC 61850, SPA-Bus.

Class H insulation system based on low viscosity epoxy resin and mica tape (VPI), IP23, IC01 cooling, SAE 0-00 flange bearing and SAE 18-21 disc clutch, B3B14 double bearings, DER2 digital voltage regulator.
