Solution

In April 2022, Techexpo company delivered a СТМ М1500 (Italy) containerized diesel genset based on a 1200 kW Mitsubishi engine with fuel tanks for 4960 liters for Botkin City Clinical Hospital of Moscow City Health Department State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the City of Moscow.

Botkin Hospital of Moscow City Health Department is the largest modern multi-discipline health facility in Moscow where over 100 000 people are annually treated. The Botkin Hospital structure includes 11 specialized healthcare centers. The Botkin Hospital territory is almost 20 ha of land in the center of the city on the Khodynskoe field. The hospital manages 48 buildings with a total area of about 200 000 square meters.

TE.1200С-T400-2RN (1200 kW) genset is manufactured based on a Mitsubishi S12R-F1PTAW2 engine and Stamford P734D (UK) generator. DG equipment includes: ComAp AMF25 control panel, industrial silencer, electric coolant heater, generator circuit breaker, auxiliaries board, ventilation, lighting, gas exhaust systems, a security and fire alarm system and an automatic aerosol fire extinguishing systems are installed. The floor, walls and ceiling of the container have a layer of thermal insulation at least 100 mm thick.

9150х2450х2900 mm all-welded container consists of four compartments:

  • One assembly compartment
  • Three fuel compartments
А - assembly compartment
Б - fuel compartment
В - additional 990-liter fuel tank

The fuel system of the DG consists of:

  • 1000 l main underframe fuel tank of the DG
  • Four additional 990-liter fuel tanks with fuel gauge, filler port, cooling system and fire safety valve
  • Fuel line systems from four 990 l fuel tanks to the DG
  • Systems of automatic fuel pumping into the DG tank
  • Fuel leakage monitoring systems for all fuel tanks and fuel lines including the main (underframe) tank

The diesel genset receives fuel from the main tank of the DG (1000 l) and four additional fuel tanks 990 l each, which are installed inside the container. One is in the assembly compartment, the rest three - in separate compartments of the container.

Replenishment of the main tank of the genset is carried out automatically through the fuel priming system from the intake pipeline. The fuel-supply line connects the main tank of the genset and four additional ones.

The DG automation system ensures:

  • Automatic DG speed control;
  • Automatic voltage regulation;
  • Alarm and emergency protection of the genset;
  • Automatic battery charge;
  • Automatic start and stop of the DG from external ATS;
  • Local control of start, stop;
  • Automatic DG stop when reaching the lower emergency level of fuel in the tank;
  • Automatic refueling of the main tank;
  • Automatic maintenance of DG in readiness for quick load acceptance;
  • Control of the main parameters of the DG operation with their indication on the DG panel;
  • Blocking the power supply to the electric convectors during DG operation;
  • De-energization of the alternating current network of auxiliaries upon the "Fire" signal from the S2000-ASPT fire control device;
  • The shutdown of the DG upon the “Fire” signal from the S2000-ASPT fire control device and when the temperature in the container rises above 50°C;
  • Maintaining the air temperature in the container is carried out using automation facilities that control the operating modes of universal air valves and electric convectors.
